Runway Tulsa 2016/Walking for Joshua Christensen
Walking for Joshua Christensen was seriously the best thing that has happened to me all year. It's been at least 2 years since I have walked a runway, and to be given the opportunity to walk for a designer that has been on Project Runway, (Season 9), was such a great opportunity. I especially loved the pink hair, this was my first time modeling for such a unique, and creative designer. This year for me has started off rough. Moving back from New York, where I lived for two years, persuing my modeling career, and then having to make the tough decision to move temporarily back home, to create a foundation for my life. The crazy thing is, I've received more opportunities in my own hometown, then in New York City. I was depressed the beginning part of the year because I missed New York so much, and I thought that I had failed, by coming back home. What I'm learning is that when you have a dream, the whole Universe conspires ways to give it to you, because the universe wants nothing more then to see you win. To see you be victorious, because that is your purpose in your life. To beat all odds. You are not here to play small. You are here to play big. You are here to evolve into your greatest version, and achieve, and accomplish your hearts desire. I've realized now how much I want to put my city Tulsa, Oklahoma on the map, and create opportunities, and help progress my city in fashion, music, LGBT culture, and overall appeal. Runway Tulsa was amazing, and helped me to realize, and see my true gifts, and talents that I thought I could only access in New York City. The message I ultimately want to share with you all is that your dream, is the dream of the Universe, and nothing you could ever do, will change that.
